It’s getting to be college graduation time and it always makes me think about my own college graduation. I remember going through all of the pomp and circumstance. I remember going through all the final exams. I remember trying to sell used books. I remember going to all of the parties. I remember the fear of the future.

Here’s to all of the 2010 graduates out there, no matter what school you are graduating from. Good luck and congratulations!

Do Better Resumes, Please!

One of the joys I had working at a school in Thailand was going through all of the resumes that people would send in. Most of the resumes looked like they were written by someone who didn’t have any clue what a resume should be like. They seemed to be filled with grammar errors, spelling errors, and common sense errors. Luckily there is help out there on the net on how to make decent resumes. Seek it out and you will find.

Ceasing To Be Amazed?

I was looking the other day at some information that a student did for a report. They had information about the human growth hormone and its use as a health supplement. It was really eye opening and something that I really had never given much thought about before. It sure did interest me though. It never ceases to amaze me what I learn from my students day in and day out.

Getting Self Sufficient With A Pond

One of the best ways to be self sufficient is with a backyard pond. You can have a pond that is stocked with good fish and then be able to fish and have free food whenever you want or need it. Not only is a great source of food, but it’s also a great source of home relaxation and recreation. The good feelings you get from relaxing beside your own pond. All you need is to get the right selection of pond supplies. You can rest assured.

RefocusingMany visitors to TEFLWatch often wonder why I went from solely an educational blog to focus more on educational opportunities, training opportunities and business opportunities. The truth is that I think people are better served talking about opportunities inside these areas.

Face it, we are at a turning point economically and the only real way to get ahead is to make sure that we are focused in the right direction. Focusing on opportunities to better ourselves is the best way forward and the best way to focus ourselves on better things.
