Looking For A Camcorder
My wife wants to buy a new camcorder. She wants to be able to record more home movies than we can with our digital camera. She’s been looking through the different camcorder reviews and seeing what kind of features she should be looking for and which brands are best. A handheld video camera would be great for us to get so I have given her the go ahead when she finds one that she likes. I just want the camcorder to be a digital camcorder and be able to record in HD. I’d also like it be as compact as possible.
Finding New Insurance
I am busy doing a lot of looking for insurance. I need new health insurance since we are changing our jobs. I am doing a lot of looking online and it does take some interesting searching for local insurance quotes as well as good companies. It’s harder out here, but back home it’s as easy as searching for Blue Cross Blue Shield NC and then going checking out the quotes and being done.
I sure wish it was that easy here….
Never Too Early For Halloween
Last Halloween was a lot of fun. It was the first real Halloween for the kids to dress up in school and really participate in the holiday. The one thing I wish I had done differently is to plan ahead of time in terms of buying costumes for the kids. The truth is that while many places sell costumes, there aren’t that many places to find really great kids costumes. This year I think I will have my wife surf the web with the kids and find costumes that will love…and do it early!
New Car Insurance Needed
My wife is going to be buying a car next week. She is very excited about it. This means that this week, we will be shopping around for the cheapest car insurance for a new driver. I have a feeling that it won’t be as cheap as I want it to be, but that’s ok. Soon the prices will go down as she gets more experience. I guess that is part of life and our own development.
A Chandelier In My Future
I don’t know why but my kids are totally obsessed with chandeliers. It all started after they watched a movie where one of the characters really loved his chandelier. It just blossomed from that. Now they are noticing chandeliers wherever they go and are even asking us to put one in our house! Even my wife has decided to get on this and she is leaving not subtle hints.
Oh well, I suppose that would be something good to put in the living room.
