The best advice out there is to don’t let them get you down. There are people out there with such meaningless lives that they strive to make everyone’s life as miserable as there own. They will lie, cheat, or steal away your happiness. You might even voluntarily give up that happiness, but don’t do it. Recognize these light suckers for what they are.

Whether they are a Bob or a Richard, in fact it doesn’t matter what their name is, they are evil people who can never be happy and do not want anyone else to be happy. I, for one, have never been happier since pushing away light suckers. I learned to recognize the symptoms early on so that they couldn’t spread their poison.

Good riddance.

It is with great pleasure we welcome another school into the Good Vibes Lounge. It always makes me happy to induct a school into the Good Vibes Lounge. TEFL teaching is fraught with danger and while many believe this site is a TEFL blacklist, TEFLWatch is more than that. We are a site dedicated to helping teachers and that means helping teachers work for great schools. It’s my pleasure to welcome Universidad Tecnologica de la Mixteca to the Good Vibes Lounge.

Universidad Tecnologica de la Mixteca may not be the perfect school, but it has a lot of things going for it. The big pluses are that they offer free internet access on campus, a relatively light workload, a decent salary, good colleagues, and most of all, you are treated as part of the teaching team. It’s a place where you have a chance to grow as a teacher.

I could on and on about how great of a school this is, but Melee, one of our posters, summed it up the best. Just take a look at the forum post, Universidad Tecnologica de la Mixteca.

I like these inductions because I can give this advice: When a job opening comes up at this school, you would be wise to apply quickly for it. It’s a great opportunity in my opinion.
