Some of you may be aware that I am preparing to make a large move. It also means that we will be a doing a lot of traveling over the next week or so. I have been spending a lot of time packing and getting everything ready. We even had to go out and buy new luggage.

I don’t like shopping in general, but I do enjoy shopping for luggage. Maybe I am strange that way, but for me, luggage symbolizes a great trip and the start of a new adventure. And who doesn’t like shopping for a new adventure?

Have you seen some of the newest Westgate hotels? They are really impressive. I have seen the one in Branson, very nice, and I’ve also seen the one at the Flamingo Bay in Vegas. I was just checking out their website and they have a new one called Planet Hollywood Towers by Westgate. That’s really an impressive condo building. I think we very well might check them out on our upcoming visit to Las Vegas. It certainly looks fabulous.

When a friend of mine recently suggested that I get a Zero Halliburton, at first I thought he was talking about the company with ties to Dick Cheney. After doing a quick look on the net, I realized that a Zero Halliburton is one of the highest quality briefcases you can buy.

They were first made in the 1930′s and have been made with exacting quality ever since. In fact, they are only brand of briefcases that are still made in the USA. They’ve got several different styles and are available around the world. It sounds like you can trust this Halliburton.

I was just watching the news the other day. I can not believe that it snowed so much in las vegas. It’s amazing only in the amount of snow they got. Normally it snows at least once every couple of years and every year Las Vegas flirts with snow.

The positive thing about snow in Vegas is that it melts very quickly while giving the ski area at Mt Charleston a deep base of snow for winter skiing. And that’s just another great reason to visit Las Vegas.

Know Where You Are With A GPS

When you first hit the road exploring the world as a TEFL teacher, you usually pack the usual travel items all in your backpack. This includes a dictionary, some reading books, a personal health kit, work clothes, fun clothes and maybe a few travel guide books. There is one extra that it should include and that is a GPS.

A little handheld portable GPS unit is a great gadget to help you know exactly where you are. Often times when traveling in a new country, you won’t be able to tell from the signs where exactly you are, but with a GPS you will know in an instant.

Trust me, you are traveling in a foreign country, it’s great to actually know where you are.
