Exit Signs Online
I love surfing the net and discovering new sites to write about and even use. Not a day goes by that I am not surprised about something that I find online. For example, I just found a site where they sell exit signs. I never even knew that there was a site devoted to exit signs.
When I talk about exit signs, I am not talking about the freeway exit signs, I am talking building exit signs. There are many different kind and when you think about it, they are important. In an emergency, it’s good to know where the exit. I guess that’s why I always try to sit in the exit rows on the plane.
Toying With An Idea
I have been toying with the idea of putting together a Latin America teaching forum for quite awhile, but I always end up balking after giving it much thought. It looks like I have decided to push through and this week, I am doing a lot more to get it all a reality. Hopefully by next week at this time, the site will be live and active. Look for a post here and on several other sites once it happens. It could be a huge benefit for all teachers in Latin America as well as for teachers considering making the jump to Latin America.
The Subject of Religion
I was emailed a link to a discussion on the infamous troll forum, Ajarn Forum the other day concerning the Nature of God. It began with a quote from one user that I didn’t find necessarily bad, but another user did find it as slightly anti-God.
One user posted their problem with the quote and then out came the anti-God corp. They have sunked so far into vice and depravation that they think there only hopes for avoiding the second death is to attack Christians and anything to do with God. They believe that their way is the only way and that they are the only ones with the truth.
What makes them any different than over zealous Jehovah Witnesses that knock on your door constantly?
It’s a good thing that I decided to end any association with Ajarn Forum.
Find A Better Way
One of the best ways to avoid problems or to improve any facet of your life is to find a better way. There are the old ways, there are new ways, they are good ways and of course there are better ways.
It can be tough to find a better way, but that’s where consultation and prayer can come in. The more you consult with people who know and the more you pray for counsel from Heavenly Father then the more chances you will have to find a better way.
There is no need to dwell on problems of the past. There is no need to keep doing things the same way. Just find a better way.
Why Has Creativity Disappeared?
It used to be that creativity meant being able to solve more than one problem in a different way. This creativity led to many, many new products that changed the way we live and even changed the way we work.
Now, it seems that this creativity has disappeared. No one seems to be able to use their creativity to find new ways of solving old problems. They just look on the net for the answers to their problems.
They have decided creativity is making stupid art or writing stupid sounding poetries, or even admiring the music of some bubble gum pop star. No wonder the situation is as it is.
