Copper Sinks: Practical and Elegant
I’ll bet you didn’t know that copper is a natural antibacterial. This means that Grandpa knew something when he put a copper sink in his kitchen. It’s not surprising that copper sinks are finding their way into more and more new kitchens these days. Another bonus is that these copper sinks look really nice. They are beautiful and attractive. That’s like a double bonus. It sure seems like having one of these in the home would be a great way to add something nice to it.

Grandpa always has a reason why made something in a way instead of another… the only reason, which guides us today is money… how can I save more money? Making everything in plastic… However I’ve got to warn you to not link DIRECTLY a copper sink to iron pipes or you can see the so known BATTERY EFFECT that makes copper literally EAT your pipes. So always link copper with copper or iron to iron, or, at least, put a plastic link between them, never link them directly!
I just would like to know how much this costs
cooper is quite expensive… And of course if it is not easy to scratch. I was reconstructing my kitchen and I used a sink from a black stone-like material with an antibacterial surface and I am very content with it.
In most homes I have been, I haven’t seen copper sinks. Mostly, the sinks I’ve seen are made of stainless steel or aluminum. My grandpa also told me about copper being a natural antibacterial. I thought he’s just joking when he told me this, but after reading your blog, I now realized that my grandpa was indeed telling the truth, LOL. Copper sink looks nice indeed. I guess I’m gonna try this for our kitchen because we are currently renovating it.
