Will you get your due?
Well, between now and the end of May, it is end of the contract time here in Thailand. Schools are notorious for nicking part or all of a final salary in Thailand. Sometimes they give reasons, sometimes they don’t. Some foreign teachers in Thailand don’t bother to give notice, just collect their final salary and then say adios. Others desire to do the right thing and have been burned.

Teachers involved with students
What should you do if you discover that a teacher is involved with a student? This is the new poll question and I want to have some feedback on the issue. You don’t have to teach very long to start running into this issue. Normally if all parties involved are locals, I really would suggest that you let them handle it. What happens though when a Western or other foreign teacher is involved? Keep it quiet? Or is there a way to handle it and be pro-teacher at the same time?
