Looking For The Old TEFLWatch Forum?

The TEFLWatch Forum has been defunct for just about 2 years now, but I always kept the database. I knew that it could find its way into a future project, I just didn’t expect it to take this long. Anyways, I am preparing to start a new project related to Freelance TEFL. Any good site on the net really needs a forum so instead of completely reinventing the wheel, I am in the process of building a new Freelance TEFL forum with the TEFLWatch Forum as its base.

While it’s not really ready for primetime yet, it will be over the weekend. Anyways, I am just glad to be able to keep a good chunk of the content available for the foreseeable future.

It’s getting to be the New Year and it’s getting that time of the year to take a look at yearly payments and see how much I am paying and how much I can be saving. This means that I take a look at my insurance premiums. Just like last year, I will go online and find some free insurance quotes and see how much money I can actually save over the next year. You might want to do the same thing.

I am learning something new each and every day. For example, until the other day, I didn’t know that you could buy wine online. Now I just discovered that not only can you buy wine online, but you can also buy cigars online. That is actually kind of interesting.

I guess there truly isn’t anything that you can’t buy online these days. Well, maybe a few things, but that list is getting shorter and shorter each and every day.

I remember an old friend of mine John He was looking for work in airlines and he wasn’t having the right kind of luck. He was almost ready to give up on his search when he decided to actually use the internet to search for a job. He started searching by city, for example philadelphia airport jobs, and came across some hits. It didn’t take him long to land a job at Northwest Airlines.

If you are looking for a specific job in this economy then you might want to use the same method.

I am getting to start a specialty reports type of business. I know that this requires a lot of in person visits so I have been looking at various promotional products to offer potential clients. Things sure have come a long ways since the days of ball point pens and calendars. The hard part now is trying to figure out which products will have the most positive impact on getting some solid clientele.

Any ideas?
