Recession SuccessI have been seeing those hot careers in a recession articles over on MSN and Yahoo. They give a list of hot careers in a recession and then give links to where you can study for those careers. By the time you are finished with the training, the recession will be over and the economy will be fundamentally different than it is today. As I looked at them, I got my own ideas for jobs to get you through the recession and I have compiled a list of them. While these may not be careers in the traditional sense, they will see you through the recession and help you make more money.

1. Flea Market Vendor. Value is a value and these days people are looking for values anywhere they can find it. A great place is at the flea market. Flea marketing is a cheap family activity where you can discover items and products you never though existed. It doesn’t cost much to find some great products and sell them in a flea market. While that’s traditional, you can modernize it by making an entire site with everything you sell on it and giving out the address to any and all potential customers so that your 2 days of work will translate into 7 days of income.

2. Freelance Small Business Bookkeeper. You might already have the skills to keep books, but with a good open source program like Gnucash, you can handle the books of any business with just a little training. Many companies need help keeping their books nowadays and may not be able to pay the expenses of a more well trained accountant. No worries, you can take on this responsibility not just for one company but several. With your laptop, you can go from business to business taking care of their bookkeeping needs. You could even become a notary public and offer even more services.

3. Freelance Marketing Consultant. Every company is looking to increase sales and profits in an economic downturn. The tried and true way to increase sales is to increase marketing efforts. With so much marketing on the internet these days, internet marketing offers the best chances of marketing success. This is why a freelance marketing consultant can visit with companies and give them marketing advice to help them achieve success. A freelance marketing consultant can go to small businesses that have an acute need for their expertise. It’s win-win situation for each party.

These are just three ideas, I hope they are getting your brains working about the massive opportunities available now.

Positive ChangeThere is a change coming over on the horizon, I just can’t place what it is but there is a hope for the future and hope that things will indeed get better soon. This is where I am standing right now. I know that economically things will rebound and that change is coming soon. I know that sacrifices now will lead to economic growth in the future. It’s all possible and it can all happen if we just work on putting out some really great businesses that can grow and prosper.

What are you willing to do right now to improve your own personal economy and get things going in the right direction? How far are you willing to go?

It seems like you can find anything and everything on the net these days, especially when it comes to health or beauty products. Take a look at the fat burner pill for example. It’s available and many people have tried it in an effort to lose extra pounds and inches without the drudgery of going on a full blown diet. This can make it much easier for people who need to lose weight for health or other reasons to get their weight lost for good.

I was talking with a good friend of mine the other day about home based businesses. These are really important in the economy right now because they allow people to harness their creative energy without spending a lot of money on fixed business expenses like an office or retail location. These lower costs can make all the difference in doing what it takes to be successful in any kind of new business.
