Remember The Dress Not The Girl
It’s been so long since I last thought about prom. It feels like so long ago when I went to prom, so long ago that I really can’t remember who I went with. All I can remember is the prom dress she wore. Isn’t that kind of amazing? Can’t remember the person but can remember the dress? Actually it’s not that unusual because her dress overshadowed everything else. The girl really went above and beyond to make a good impression.
I wonder if there are other like me who can only remember the dress? Isn’t there a song called Lady In Red?
Finding Houses To Rent Easily
It’s been awhile since I had to look for a place to rent, but that’s just what I found myself doing last weekend. I was helping a friend find a place to live and for awhile that meant trekking through neighborhoods driving real slow until I decided to go online instead. I found some good house for rent by owner listings and he was able to do a lot better than the trekking slowly method.
Trust me, online is much better than the trekking method. Keep your trekking for exploration.
Looking for an Antenna
I am installing a TV in my kids’ room. I already having the digital converter since it’s an old TV, but now I am looking to get an antenna. This means I am looking specifically for antennas for digital tv. I want one that can do deal with the UHF band where the broadcasts are and one with sufficient gain to receive the stations well. This should make it so that I can save a little money on an extra cable tv outlet in the room.
Gained Weight Over The Summer?
I need to look at getting some decent weight loss pills after this last summer. It seemed like it was the first summer in many years that I actually gained weight over the summer. It’s kind of shocking because most of the time I actually lose weight over the summer rather than gain.
Hmm, I guess I do know that I need to take care of my health better than I have been if I want to see real change in my health for the positive.
Time To Install New Sink?
I’d love to put in a new sink before the new school year starts and life gets way to busy. I’ve been looking at a nice triple undermount sink that would be perfect in our kitchen. I really like the idea of having a new one and so does my wife. I think it just might also be a decent investment since it would increase the value of our home.
