Games That Sites Play

I never cease to be amazed at the games that sites play. It seems like some websites in the teaching community have become so full of themselves. They are led by people who are just ordinary teachers but in their own minds have become super teachers.

These so called super teachers are teachers who would find it difficult to make a go of things back home and really wouldn’t even be considered teachers back home. They get their jobs just because they have white skin and can speak English, more or less. It hardly qualifies them to be “professional” teachers.

So they start up a website and begin playing the game of their own self absorption. They begin trying to make themselves even haughtier and haughtier, all with the goal of building their egos up.

I wonder if they are ever able to sit back and realize just how worthless they are?
