Make Extra Money As An Extra
I am always interested in new and exciting ways to make extra money on the side. Imagine my surprise to find out that there is actually money to be made being an extra in movies or TV. Pay can range from $100 to $300 a day! Not only can I make extra money, but my secret ambitions to be a star can be maybe even be fulfilled.
Yes, ever since I starred in a play in my high school(no it wasn’t the Hunchback of Norte Dame), I have thought about what it would be like to go to Hollywood and be an actor. I thought about roles in movies or TV and how exciting it would be. I never did make the leap. The closest I came was monthly trips to Cali from Phoenix.
Now I have a family and a steady job and things have changed. I thought I put that notion out of my mind until I discovered Talent6. It’s an agency that helps ordinary people land work as an extra in movies or TV. You don’t have to live in Hollywood or New York because they have a nationwide presence and can help you land work in just about any part of the country.
It’s remarkably easy to get a start as an extra with Talent6. The first step is to give them a call at 1-800-493-9047 and talk to one of their portfolio managers. That’s all it takes to get your start as an extra.
If you want more information, be sure to check out Talent6.

some thing new then other posts …i surely check that talent6 and hope it can help me …good to see such a brilliant post
My step brother does tons of extra work and he absolutely loves it. He basically gets paid to walk around, have “pretend” conversations with other extras, and hob nob with actors, movie buffs and more. I also have a friend who’s made tons of cash over the years as a character model. Rather than posing in Gucci and Prada (which few of us can pull off for pay), he’s the tormented face of anti-depressant ads, viagara, Hallmark cards and more! Definitely worth looking into…
Hi there, I tried to leave a comment the other day about how awesome being an extra is, and it got bounced.
Why? I wanted to tell everyone about how much my brother LOVES being an extra for action and comedy shows. Most of the time, he says he just gets paid to walk around and look like he’s having conversations in French (a lot of the shows are filmed in French-speaking Canada, where he lives).
Another great way to make money is to be a character actor, where you get to pose for antidepressant ads, greeting cards and more.
I hope I won’t get bounced this time! Thanks for the great post.
