Making a Break From Teaching

I know a lot of teachers are exploring ways of breaking away from teaching. I don’t know if it is because they are burnt out or maybe it is because they are just tired of not being able to push their students to success.

I know that’s the reason why I stopped teaching. I found that the teaching profession didn’t give me the kind of feelings I had in my heart when I first started teaching. I just never felt happy deep down in my heart anymore. That’s probably a good reason to break away from teaching.

What do you do after you break free from teaching? Is there life after TEFL? I am here to say, yes there is life after TEFL. I have been back in the states for several months now and while it was a bit intimidating to come home. Now that I am home, I have adjusted well and actually been looking at opportunity to satisfy my wanderlust. I know my next foray abroad will be in a well paying job.
