		<description>Flash drives are enormously useful, and capacity is getting cheaper all the time.  Educators can install entire Linux distributions on them and boot up an otherwise Windows-only PC for demonstration, educational, or even diagnostic / recovery purposes.

The flip side of course is that data can go out on these devices as easily as it comes in.  Just be sure to encrypt anything confidential, and choose an encryption solution that extends to removable devices.</description>
