Going With Electronic Drums
I am looking at getting a decent set of drums for my son this Christmas. He’s been playing the drums in school and I think it’s time that he has a set at home to practice with. I’ve been specifically looking at electronic drums because of several advantages they offer like controllable volume, additional effects, and more portability. All of these are quite important and I am willing to pay more to get a quality set rather than going with the old traditional style of drums. I also think electronic drums are more durable and long lasting, but that might just be what I think.
Anyways, let’s hope I find the right kind of set of electronic drums so that my son can really improve his playing.
Making Plans For Disney World
I am looking at doing a late winter getaway to Disney World with the kids and my wife. I think it will be an awesome time to spend it in the warm confines of Florida and away from the cold and wet winter. I know we could do Disneyland, but we’ve done that a few times before. Now I am looking at hotels in orlando and looking for recommendations. I want to make this an awesome time for a vacation and really build a stronger family.
Other Health Jobs To Benefit From
It seems like health care is a growing and booming field to work in, even in a down economy. It’s just not doctors and nurses that will benefit from the new health care bill. There will also be a lot of Billing/Coding Specialist Jobs to go around as well. This is a relatively easy area to get into if you get a little bit of quality training. It certainly is something to keep in mind if being a nurse isn’t what interests you.
Towards More Balance
I just bought a guitar the other day for my son and now I am busy looking for good acoustic guitar lessons for him. I want him to be able to learn how to play the guitar well so that he can express himself through music. I am big proponent of children learning to express themselves through multiple ways in the arts, like music, writing, drawing and painting. I think it makes for a more balanced person.
Holiday Time Again – Tough
It’s the Christmas time of year once again and that means both good and bad times. Unfortunately it’s a time when some people are unable to handle the stresses and turn to drugs and alcohol. Fortunately it’s also a time when people look to get the help they need in these tough times through drug rehab treatment centers and other professional approaches to deal with both the causes and the results of their way of dealing with things.
