Out of The Recession Like A Rocket
I am trying to increase my income level. I know this recession isn’t doing me any favors. I’ve been able to maintain my income, but that’s really not what I am looking for. I want to increase my income and position myself better to come out of this recession like a rocket.
I am now doing a lot of looking at a small business opportunity or two in an effort to increase my income to the level that my family needs. It’s tough trying to decide what area to get into. I’d love to do something with marketing for business to business.
Why business to business? I think the B2B industry is going to come back much quicker than the consumer industry. If you look at history, the last two recessions, in 1990 and 2001, affected industry and business more than it affected consumers. Consumers maintained many of their purchases. This one will be different and if you position yourself in an industry that will be at the start of the growth curve, you will see even more success.
On The Backs Of Small Business
In an earlier, I talked about inflating our way out of the current financial crisis by using tax credits to encourage home ownership and small business development. I really think that would be the best way forward. It would allow the productive capacity of the American entrepreneur to take over and the lead the country to prosperity. I think it would be an amazing way of bringing about prosperity.
That said, I doubt if it will be put in place. It seems like all the government wants to do is support big business. Big business got us into this mess so it’s rather ludicrous to believe that big business will get us out of this mess. No, small business is the only way.
Any ideas the promotion of small business as a way out of this crisis?
