Taking Weekend Trips
Travel is one of my joys in life. I try to make it a point to make one trip per month. I found it easier when I was teaching to make regular trips, but with a little work, I have been quite successful over the last several months at making monthly sightseeing trips to nearby towns, cities and venues. Making these short weekend trips really keep the mind open and thinking about all of the possibilities that exist in the world around us.
This weekend, I plan on making a trip over to the wine country near Shelton. There are some nice wineries near Grapeview. I remember them when I in high school but had no interest in exploring them at the time. I have no interest now in drinking the wine, but I do like visiting the wineries and seeing how they produce the wine and taking a tour of the Vineyards. It should be a blast.
